Dectron Internationale will debut a reinvigorated, productivity-driven relationship with its rep companies and their sales teams with the first of an on-going program of two-day training seminars focused on Dectron and Ecotron product lines, customer service, and the state-of-the art technology that distinguishes these lines.
The launch event takes place on
May 22 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm and May 23 from 8:30 am to 2:30 pm.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be served on May 22.

Sham Ahmed, Chief Operating Officer of Dectron Internationale, is pleased to announce the appointment of Pascal Ahnien as its Vice President Finance.
Pascal is a graduate of McGill University and earned his CPA, CGA designation shortly thereafter. His solid background, with more than fifteen years of financial experience working for leading HVAC companies with greater responsibilities, led to his appointment as controller.
As Vice President Finance, Pascal will oversee the activities of Dectron Internationale accounting divisions and provide financial management processes in all aspects of innovative analytic forecasting, budgeting, and implementation. We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mohammad Taoufik Ing. as Dectron's Director of Manufacturing and Processes. Mohammad has over twenty years in Manufacturing and Process improvements, working for several multinationals in Canada and Europe.
Mohammad is a graduate Industrial Engineer, holds an MBA and is a certified PMP (Project Management Professional). He will have direct responsibility of the four plants (Poirier, Cote-Vertu, Pomba, and Boucherville) to insure on time shipments and processes improvements.

Dectron Internationale Inc. named SRS Enterprises, Brooklyn, N.Y., as its “Rep of the Year—2011” at the 2012 International Air-Conditioning, Heating & Refrigerating Exposition (AHR Expo® 2012) in Chicago, Jan. 24. It was the third consecutive year SRS Enterprises has won the award.
SRS, which is owned by partners, Robert Senia, president; Richard Rose, vice president; and Ralph Schlenker, vice president, helped get several subsidiaries of Dectron Internationale equipment specified in a variety of large and small New York projects.
“SRS Enterprises encompasses what we look for in a representative of the year,” said Harry Topikian, vice president of business development, Dectron. “They sold a large number of units across the spectrum of Dectron’s Ecosaire, Circul-Aire and Dectron Inc., product lines, including very high profile projects.”
The 18-year-old manufacturer’s representative firm, which operates offices in Brooklyn as well as Middletown, N.J. and covers the territories throughout New York City, Long Island, sold dozens of air treatment systems to the Croton and Catskill-Delaware Water Treatment plants that are responsible for the improved taste, odor, color and quality of drinking water for the city of New York, according to Topikian. The scope of the projects included dehumidifier, make-up air, heating/cooling and computer room precision air conditioning systems.
Other projects include the New York Police Academy training pool, several YMCA natatoriums, Newton Creek Water Pollution Control and Manhattan Waste Water Treatment Plants, Carnegie 57 Hotel, Yaphank Correctional Facility, and various residential towers and private homes.

As demand for higher industry standards in construction, such as LEED® requirements and rush deliveries, Dectron promotes the use of “Shrink Wrapping” its units prior to shipping. “Shrink Wrapping” not only keeps the unit free of dirt, dust, insects, calcium and/or other contaminants that could potentially spread into “Clean Buildings”, but it also reduces extra shipping weight caused by wood crating. Shrink Wrapping also prevents scratches, blemishes and scuff marks that could occur when using tarps and straps during transport. Essentially, it protects the unit’s paint and conserves its esthetic appearance.
